This notice explains how information may be handled in connection with the ACN Ventures website, including its optional partnership enquiry form.
This website has an optional partnership enquiry form. If you choose to use it, it asks for your name, work email, organisation or role, partnership area and message, together with your agreement that we may use the information to respond. The form opens your own email application; this site does not operate a separate form-processing database. The site has no account system, newsletter or analytics.
When you send a partnership enquiry, we receive the information you choose to include: your name, organisation, role, email address, partnership area and message. Please do not send confidential, sensitive or health-related information through the form. Your email provider may process the message under its own terms before it reaches us.
Delivering any website involves ordinary server activity. Our hosting provider may process information such as IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, timestamps and the referring page. This is used to deliver pages, keep the service available and protect it against abuse. We do not use these logs to build profiles or to identify individual visitors.
We do not use personal information for advertising or automated decision-making.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
Infrastructure and hosting providers may process information on our behalf and on our instructions, under contract, for the purpose of running the site. Static hosting, content delivery and security for this site are provided by Cloudflare, Inc. through Cloudflare Pages. This release has no separate enquiry-form processor, analytics processor or marketing processor. The enquiry is transmitted through the email provider you choose when you select Send.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiry correspondence is retained while a discussion is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or archived. Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider. ACN Ventures does not operate a separate raw server-log archive for this site. Cloudflare may process technical and security data in the course of delivering and protecting the service, under its own service terms and retention controls.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children.

Computational models generate hypotheses and candidate research directions from data. A prediction tells us where to look. It is not biological evidence, functional evidence or clinical evidence, and it does not become evidence until an experiment tests it and the result holds.
